I have the Britax Duo Isofix and I am very pleased I bought it. I was involved in a head on crash in March, and while I sustained injuries still ongoing, my son came out completely unhurt, he barely felt the force.
Needless to say I have replaced the one involved in the crash with another identical model.
You can buy on kiddicare.com at good prices0 -
Dont think my 1996 Audi A4 has Isofix points in it so I will have to use standard belt fitting ones.Official DFW Nerd Club - Member no. 1021 - Proud to be dealing with my debts.0

I I bought a nania one for mine, its so cosy I want to get in myself. They are like racing car seats and really padded I got mine from precious little one
They dont seem to sell mine anymore, but I wuold really recomend them, very sturdy and they are really cheap as wellWork like you don't need money,Love like you've never been hurt,And dance like no one's watchingSave the cheerleader, save the world!0 -
I had a Britax Renaissance for my daughter (now 3 and a half). Fab seat, very comfortable, and all the excellent safety features that you would expect from Britax.
The Renaissance does however have a "unique Adjusta-Fit and belt Tensioner" (quote Britax!) .
Can be used with either ordinary seatblet or lap-belt.
Very good carseat, cost around £140 when i bought it.

The britax isofix duo does have seatbelt option but as with any carseat, you need to check it fits your car, and have it fitted by an expert. You should be shown how to do it, and they should actually check your work after you've done it yourself.
One of the main problems with car seats is incorrect fitting.May all your dots fall silently to the ground.0 -
I can highly recomend the maxi cosi priori. 9mth to 4years. Have now got one with a 18mth old in and another waiting for my 7mth old to jump in to! Have used quite a few different makes and styles and this was the best for me and easy to use. My 4 yr old used to be in a mothercare version of the maxi cosi and that was also very good.0

Both times we have needed a car seat (group one then just recently the next one up) either me or my husband have signed up to Which online (free trial for a month). Read all the info, bought the seat and cancelled at end of free trial!MTC NMP Membership #62 - made it back to size 12 after my children & I'm staying here!0

some pratt drove into the back of me on Tuesady while I was stationary at a red light/ The car is a right state BUT my Britax freeway meant DS came out without a scratch.:j I'm replacing my seat with exactly the same model as it's proved it's worth.
The britax website allows you to choose the correct seat for your model and marque of car - after Tuesday I can't rec it highly enough as the seat is only as good as the fit in your individual car. Do check out the britax site.0 -
I forgot about this. It's called Britax fit finder. Link here. http://www.britax.co.uk/FitFinder/GB/FitFinder.phpMay all your dots fall silently to the ground.0
