Yurts can be made remarkably comfortable! I hope your Gran's house is still intact...0

Hope that the news on the house in Spain is good. Living in a yurt would be fun, though. Perhaps you could build one in the garden of the property you're buying, and stay there until the vendors move out!0

Any more news today? Been following this, hope you get it sorted soon.0

Spanish place is safe so that's a good thing!
Apparently we're due a communication from the vendors today (so their solicitor told ours on the phone on Friday) so we'll see what that says!“Don't do it! Stay away from your potential. You'll mess it up, it's potential, leave it. Anyway, it's like your bank balance - you always have a lot less than you think.”

Have been following this intently (Glad the Spanish place is OK; things are looking up!)
I think we should have a wager on what the sellers are going to come back with.
a) Leave us alone we are not shifting nor are we offering anything. We have law on our side, dontchaknow, according to my Auntie Mabels boyfriends daughters donkey.
b) We still only offer X and Y but not Z if you get lost and leave us alone
c) We apologise, please come move in next week.
I vote A0 -
Thank god for the Spanish House (maybe your vendors would like to rent it for a bit to recover from the shock of their bankruptcy?) ...0

Wow - I was p'd off when my buyers pulled out just before exchange so our mini-chain fell apart, I can only imagine what you're going through. I hope you have good news from your solicitor soon.Mortgage Free thanks to ill-health retirement0
