For all of us who have done the typically british trait of tutting at the rising petrol prices, our prayers have been answered!

Asda has announced they have slashed the cost of their petrol, to just 99.9p per litre.

Not good for those of us that filled up yesterday, but excellent for those running on empty today!

As others have said, they don't advertise their price increase do they?

Technology are being held back by the oil owners and govt to fleece us on overpriced petrol. Toyota came out with the hybrid prius about 10 years ago and there is still isn't a massive mass production of these cars by all the manufacturers. Electric/solar is probably the way forward.

IMHO the Toyota Pious simply moves the problem elsewhere. It doesn't solve the real fuel issue...

I have found ASDA to always be cheaper than anywhere to get fuel, I drive from Cornwall to London regularily and ASDA Cribbs Causeway is cheap, also I have an ASDA credit card saving another penny a litre (was 2p a litre before Santander took over the ASDA credit cards:()
I must, I must, get my post average up to 1 a day!! :D
