£11000 arears because csa never acted

The problem is that as you say 'just a term' we are now in to legal talk and there is no such thing as 'just a term' it all has a meaning in law. They say that they are bound by the law, personally yet to see it. My understanding is that an investigation into them will be undertaken on teh request of the Shadow Sec of State, one the evidence that I have and have spoken to him about!0

Does anyone have a idea what sort of time scale i might be given to pay back this £11,000?I know they try and get arrears back within 2 years but would it be different because of the csa error?0
-
As you say they will start at 2 years. It sounds to me as if you need to get all the problems with your case in writing with the CSA as your arrears may not be £11,000.0

Can I just add that most the staff there work very hard and their hands are tied by 'red tape'
Sorry but it's not " red tape " at all. It's called procedure. And it's meant to be in place for a good reason. Half the problem with the CSA is the fact individuals are woefully unaware of the procedures they are meant to follow.
When this hole in their knowledge is exposed they usually fill it with incorrect information or damn right lies. Whilst i don't doubt a lot of front line staff work hard and are paid poorly thats no consolation to those whose lives get affected by this poor performance.
The CSA as an entity seems to completely forget how badly it can impact on a persons life. And that goes for both NRP's and PWC's.0 -
A lot of the time though the procedures quoted are correct - but then get changed, but senior management forget to ensure that EVERY member of staff are aware of it.0

;)Spiteful b!tches...kidding!
:rotfl: but I would have to say that I think that it describes some of them, like my PWC, poor thing it didnt get her anymore money:D funny thing is, and I just thought of this now, she kept on doing ityet never got more cash. and still she did it. I think thats what p*ssd the CSA off about her, they knew we paid the max and they knew no matter how they assessed us they couldnt change what we paid in the end they were as sick of her as we were. she was a waste of their time and effort.
lol. she even did it once and for some reason they assessed us at NIL, lol :rotfl: duck knows why:D but when we got the letter we p*ssd our sides laughing, it was obviously wrong as we both worked, but funny, never the less, added bonus she went madand blamed us what a shocker. you've got to laugh :rotfl:

I had forgotten about that. wish i'd seen her face when she got that letter:D. seriously I wonder why they assessed us at NIL because we BOTH had jobs at that time so they would have taken the fiver at least you would think. we are CSA 1 though and it was about 4 yrs ago ish, lol NIL assessment.
Laurel and Hardy must have been doing their work experience that day :rotfl:there were some L and H moments, i'd just forgotten them:D yes think i'll just remember the comedy and forget the cr*p0 -

Just a quick up date and more advice needed please.
Csa are saying i owe £10000 approx in arrears.I am currently trying to get them to look at this again as they have made mistakes with my wage/pension/travel to work cost. This leaves the arrears calculation wrong.I am just dealing with them by letter now.
Then today i get a letter from them saying i have to pay £80 now.If i dont they will start DEO or other threats,i have 5 days to reply to this.I have had no reply to the letter i sent them with correct payslips, just this order.
How can i deal with them by letter only when they start putting pressure on like this?0
