ty Snags....what do you mean he's too relaxed?

Well, you know how guys do that thing where they stop being quite so attentive, their texts and emails get a lot less wordy, they don't bother having a shave before they turn up etc...little things that are acceptable in a well established relationship - he seems to be doing them now. And while it's nice he feels comfortable with me, I'm not ready to settle down and plod just yet, I want a little bit of romance and effort first.

Maybe I'm asking too much! :rotfl:

hmm I see what you mean, I'd stamp on that now to be honest. If this is him relaxing a few weeks in, what's it going to be in 6 months, no shower for a week? _pale_

Yes, I'll mention it in as jokey and innocuous way as possible.

I do like the fact that he's no pretentions, that he's comfortable in his own skin, and doesn't feel the need to pretend to be someone he isn't in order to impress me. Shrek was all image, no susbstance and he is almost the polar opposite in a lot of ways.

But yeah, a bit of effort wouldn't go astray. Of course, that would then make him the perfect man, so I woud have to dump him immediately, otherwise I would have nothing to complain about.. :rotfl:
