Pap - i'm going to see the wee flat tonight.... the other place, well no news is precicely that, no news.....
i tell ya i am not impressed at all with them.... it should never have been on the market for rent if they can't do anything for anyone with whatever say so from the owner...I'm just a seething mass of contradictions....(it's part of my charm!)0 -
Maz, you'd think any owner would be grabbing tenants at the moment the first opportunity they get!
I think the Maisonette is cute."Stay Wonky":D

 in this 'climate' with everyones staying put or renting cheaper you would have thought they wouldn't of thought about it once let alone twice. I have never rented/looked for a flat but I would have thought if it needed cleaning they would have done that before it went up for let anywaysI agree with sally if you prefer the one tonight then I am sure you will take great pleasure in telling the other company to sling thier hooks :rotfl:

Ooooh Toto, my parcel has just arrived (neighbour had taken it in and has just brought it over).
Thank youuuuuu! :j :j :j"I wasn't wrong, I just wasn't right enough.":smileyhea97800072589250 -
thanks guys, the place tonight does look cute!
Spoke to the woman again, asking if i needed to bring references or bank statements as i would bring them ahead of time, she said not to worry she'd sort all that out later if we needed to but she generally gets good vibes off people for her properties... ! lol!
She did say the 2nd bedroom is very small (boxroom i'm guessing) so i can honestly see me sleeping on a sofabed and letting Erin have her own room... then i can have my wardrobe in the boxroom and call it a dressing room....
is it bad that i am mentally moving in!!???I'm just a seething mass of contradictions....(it's part of my charm!)0 -
Ohhhhhhhhhhhhh I could just stamp my feet and have a full on paddy tantrum I really could.....but being a grown up I'll be calm and stress free and just be content with being told a pack of lies.
I can't get a straight answer from the education office or the school as to what's happened to the paperwork....the schoo must have had it - they sent us a letter telling us to take DD2 to the induction day....but they weren't expecting her, her name wasn't on the list and they couldn't give her any details about her class teacher/house etc...bless her she's taken it all in her stride but grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr
She managed to win a competition whilst there though, a nintendo DS and games :T.
They'd better ruddy well give her a place now, I've brought all the uniform!!!
Sally - Hope Bea's felling better - worth ringing the Dr's back and explaining that she may have been in contact with swine flu - they might act a bit quicker.
Toto - Hope you get sorted with Jas - My friend needed to go private for one of her sons ops and was told that most private hospitals have funds available for a certain percentage of ops - she had to ask for the forms, they weren't means tested but she mangaged to get the op done for free....worth checking out maybe?

would a small boxroom be an issue though as Erin is only little? It's not good sleeping on a sofabed long term and you want to be able to feel as if you have moved in properly rather than perhaps seeing it as a stop gap - unless you want to just 'perch' somewhere for a few months?

i dunno about putting her in a box room, she has tons of stuff y'see!!
whereas i don't really, well not in the bedroom anyway... so i could in theory sleep in the boxroom if needs be....
or am i pandering to the child???!

I would see how big the box room is...I mean think of it long term Maz...when you get sexy new bloke you won't want to be on the sofabed in the sitting room with Erin coming in will youI'll make a wish, take a chance, make a change And breakaway.
