Ooooh Toto, my parcel has just arrived (neighbour had taken it in and has just brought it over).

    Thank youuuuuu! :j :j :j

That was quick. I honestly don't know why people bother with 'next day premium delivery' at £35 I always use the economy £6.99 option and 9 times out of 10 it's there the next day.

    Hope you enjoy it :)

Ohhhhhhhhhhhhh I could just stamp my feet and have a full on paddy tantrum I really could.....but being a grown up I'll be calm and stress free and just be content with being told a pack of lies.

I can't get a straight answer from the education office or the school as to what's happened to the paperwork....the schoo must have had it - they sent us a letter telling us to take DD2 to the induction day....but they weren't expecting her, her name wasn't on the list and they couldn't give her any details about her class teacher/house etc...bless her she's taken it all in her stride but grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

She managed to win a competition whilst there though, a nintendo DS and games :T.

They'd better ruddy well give her a place now, I've brought all the uniform!!!

Sally - Hope Bea's felling better - worth ringing the Dr's back and explaining that she may have been in contact with swine flu - they might act a bit quicker.

Toto - Hope you get sorted with Jas - My friend needed to go private for one of her sons ops and was told that most private hospitals have funds available for a certain percentage of ops - she had to ask for the forms, they weren't means tested but she mangaged to get the op done for free....worth checking out maybe?

    Right - wine time!

ugh that's a nightmare pooky, I hope you get it sorted. Why is everything one big fight? Does anything ever work properly in the various official departments these days?

Thanks for the info re the funds. I'd probably feel bad about that though, we can afford it, it's just a short term cashflow issue I've got. I could take the money out of savings (although that's running low). I would probably want to leave the funds for someone else's child who really needs an op but doesn't have the funds.

On the other hand, if Erin has a decent-sized room of her own, with all her things around her, it will be easier to persuade her to stay in there if you do ever decide to 'entertain'. :D:D
