Yes i think i visit to the doctor is on the cards in the next few weeks, as i really think i'll need to go back on my anti depressents soon. I've been off them for 9 months, but with the way things are going i think i need on them again. Yes i have been to a therapist in the past, but it was for depression/self harm/eatting disorders. So i think i may need some councilling on dealing with stress in order to get my through the next two years at uni.
Thanks so much for the kind comments, and the advice i really do appreciate everones input and advice...even if i don't come accross like i do...honeslty i do!!
I think you will find it a shock going from college to uni for the third year BUT you can be prepared and throw yourself into it. As I said most universities have soooo much help on offer, but you may find it isn't as obvious to you as it is for a first year. Are you able to go to Fresher's week and get all the new student information?
You said you don't sleep so well either ... insomnia/ stress/ anxiety/ depression are all very closely related, have a lot of the same symptoms and all feed off each other. I have all of them so know where you are coming from!! There are several anti-depressants that can also help you sleep - my mum and I both take different ones and find that good sleep makes a massive difference to our lives. :T
I also find regular exercise helps with depression, stress and insomnia - so much so that I retrained from pharmacy to physical activity. You should be able to get cheap gym membership as a student, and if you do classes there's a fun social element too.

thanks for that, i'm not sure about threshers week, i will need to find that out. But i am going to a summer school programme for a week before the uni starts. They run it for all students going straight into third year from college to get them up to scratch etc. So hoping that will help me out quite a bit
I was planning on joining the gym in uni when i start, as it is £80 for a years membership. Was planning on paying for it when i get my student loan back in.0
