The best jobs get taken before they even get round to putting them on the web, in my experience. If they get a job in, they phone the people who would be a good fit, and so the job gets allocated. If you make sure you are the first person they think to ring, either because you're the most suitable, or because you're the one who's just emailed/phoned/popped in, then you are more likely to get a job.Debt at LBM (17/10/08) £5727.61 Debt free date 31/08/090

I've been thinking about doing a car boot sale with my mum, but she just got a brand new car so i'm not sure if she would be up for it. Plus it costs £15 for the space, and i don't have £15 to shell out first.
It also means having to get up at like 4am!!! I don't usually go to bed till 4am, so i dunno how that will work out
after reading through this thread I dont think you have properly had your lightbulb moment. its flashing now and then but not full on. Every suggestion that has been made you have came up with an excuse for. I dont mean to sound harsh here, I have been where you are but no one can help you until you are ready to help yourself. It also sounds like your mum has similar problems, she is in a worse position than you so taking 75% of your wages but yet she has enough to buy a brand new car. There are plenty of people here to help but you have to be willing to do anything to get out of this situation, sell things on ebay, you dont pay fees until after they have sold, in fact offer to do this for friends and family for a cut, my niece lists mine and I give her 20% of whatever I get. You just need to be inventive but most importantly, you really need to give this 100% or its just not going to work.
Good luck!Cross Stitch Cafe Monthly Challenge Member No 2 :j

I can't sell anything on ebay or amazon anymore, i am banned from selling on them now. My mum hasn't bought a new car, she got my step dad to take out a loan for it.0 -

but they pay you for the postage and you dont send until you get their money so that doesnt make sense to me. That means you spent someone elses money that they paid for a service. You really need to change the way you are thiking. Are you doing the online surveys? daily clicks? The free scratchcards?Cross Stitch Cafe Monthly Challenge Member No 2 :j

for surveys join yougov and go to google type in banner for pinecone and click on the second one down (amylynn.org......) and join the UK site. this is the best survey site there is. You really need to change the way you are thinking though, stop coming up with excuses. every little thing helps. Must say though if your mum is so much debt she is worse off than you yet still persuades her partner to get a car for her on credit then I am not surprised your money knowledge is a bit muddled.Cross Stitch Cafe Monthly Challenge Member No 2 :j
