Ohhh, I've never thought to use them as an air freshner. I do like to have a wee sniff in the jar, from time to time. :o

If you want to my sweet dough recipe I can post it unless you're happy with basic white loaf given in the blog.

Thanks for the link, they look scrummy.I'm definitely going to try these.
Do you think you could post your sweet dough recipe?

I love cinnamon in baking.I usually buy the small, standard size.but recently found a catering jar (450g) at a very reasonable prize, which of course I had to buy....I've got until May 2013 to use it.

I also always put it in my porridge.

Cinnamon is a great antiseptic. At the first sign of a sore throat I whisk a teaspoonful into a cup of hot milk with a teaspoon of honey, and sip slowly. Usually stops the sore throat in its tracks, and much more pleasant than throat lozenges. :D

Now this is interesting because this morning I just craved honey and cinnamon in my porridge and I am a salt in my porridge person! Anyway, I made it the 'new' way and just loved it. I have been following my body's cravings lately - it has resulted in oily fish...and stout :).
