It's nice on top of rice pudding, and this sounds weird but it's really nice in tomato sauces, my dad puts it in bolognese, with ginger.
actually one of the 'secret' ingredients of many texas style chilli recipes is cinnamon. add some cinnamon and some cumin to chilli and it really adds some lovely depth to the dish mmmmmmm0 -
I take cinnamon pills as they are supposed to help lower blood glucose levels.0

medicinally speaking cinnamon is a great antifungal treatment and works very well for yeast infections (steep cinnamon in water for 45 minutes and use as a douche for internal infection or use topically to control itching) i've used this in the past and it's very effective.
to that end it might work on athletes foot though i've not tried it, soaking your feet in cinnamon steeped water would probably bring some relief
other mentions for uses i see after a quick google are for sore throats and possibly weight loss... cinnamon is a lovely spice and is useful in both sweet and savoury dishes so if you like it why not use it more often, maybe you'll inadvertantly avoid a few health issues along the way!0 -
Mix with butter and put on toast. I had this in Canada. Even better on fruit bread.0

Mulled wine or mulled cider.
Add a couple of slices of orange and a cinnamon stick to either red wine or cider and heat it gently for a lovely spicy hot drink. Yum!:beer:If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0 -
