Petrol for the car... damn government!
If you don't ask, you don't find out!0

I am short on my monthly bills by £50 a month despite giving up smoking coz i could'nt afford it. When I really need to cut back I take my usually food shop from £50 a week to £30 a week using all smartprice stuff (we are a family of four).
My worst spending habits are beauty products, Partner says I'm a marketers dream. Also if our friends are out for the night I have to go and will find the money from somewhere.

When it comes to food shopping, I'm pretty much a value/own brand shopper. Cant think of anything that i buy thats branded....... will keep thinking.
Cant give up on broadband - since giving up television, my puter is all i have left to keep me sane.
Need petrol to get to the place where i earn the pennies.
Unfortunately, still smoke, but roll my own so costs about £15 per month.
I have probably overlooked something but i think thats about it.

            I will only buy:
 - Ecover cleaning products
 - Pantene, but only buy it when it's on sale
 - butter - will not use margarine
 - Hellmans
 - Grossmans pasta sauce - all the others have too much sugar and taste sweet - but again, only buy it when it's on sale
 - olive oil - but buy it at Aldi / Lidl for a good price
 - real parmesan - again from Aldi and only on special dishes - the rest of the time I use 'grated hard Italian cheese' from Makro
 - branded toilet paper - when it's on special, it's usually cheaper if you compare it PER SHEET, not only per roll
 - bottled spring water - though from Lidl it's only 18p per bottle!
I will not give up broadband or cable tv - where we live we get NO channels without it. But it's actually cheaper to have broadband, cable, and phone from NTL as a package than we were paying for broadband and phone alone!
My OH now drinks Aldi diet 'coke' after trying all the other options. He puts some lemon juice in it and it's drinkable - not the same as Diet Coke, but ok.
I use the laundry balls now, got them at the home show 2 years ago and wouldn't bother going back to lugging laundry soap home!0
