I apologise for asking! I don't need to be told what and whom to believe in, I was just asking for some information, if you don't have it then don't respond - simple!

Some really unhelpful comments here. The OP asked a genuine question and was looking for help in something they obviously believe in at a very difficult time in their life.

I wish I could help, OP, but don't know of any reputable psychics in the London area.

Do you have many friends in your area? I'm sure if you asked around somebody would be able to recommend someone to you. Personal recommendations are the way to go.

    All the best to you.

if theyre a good physcic they already know the answer to this
Makes me good then cos I knew that :D

OP friends of mine have used psychics, but not really for direction in life, and that seems to be what you're after

I've used life coaching before (a lucky freebie off this site) and it really helped me to look at things differently and understand why I wasn't happy with certain things.

Sorry Devotee, but I have to reply because I think psychics, no matter how well intentioned, are dangerous and so I feel I have to tell you to consider other routes.

Don;t apologise for asking though - I'm sure someone will be able to recommend someone but personally I wouldn;t touch one with a bargepole.

    Hi Devotee,

One of my best friends is a psychic medium. I don't use them myself, but he has a huge string of fans & testimonials, we live in Essex, so not too far from you. Really, apart from him being my friend - I have heard he really is very good.

And he's no win no fee - can't say fairer than that.

I shall pm you his details.

Which part of London ... if you go to the Yellow Pages and look up spiritualist church, that might be a start. The one in Harefield (Middx) has good recommendations.

    Good luck

Thanks for the advice! I was after a personal recommendation, sadly none of my friends know anyone good!

Thanks for your opinion, I have to say I'm not that impressionable and won't take just anything on face value, I'm always suspicious of them, but some have really surprised me with what they told me (I told them nothing about myself), so yeah I do believe there are some out there who are actually genuine.

Oh and I have a direction in life, I'm just a bit stuck with some things and logically I know what should I do about it, only that decision doesn't "feel" right...

Ah okay cool, have psychics been able to guide you to a right decision before? And how can you tell a fake? I'm not sure exactly what they do so excuse my ignorance :o

I went and saw a really good one the other month, but not in your area, sorry xx
i defo think the spiritualist church is the best idea, i used to go a lot when i was younger and found it really helpful. The services have a "demonstration" where the speaker offers a mini reading if you like to people in the congregation. Also, the sense of community you'll get and the support will be good for you i think
:p It is better to be thought of as an idiot than to open your mouth and remove all doubt
