Do you have a spirtalist church near you?
I've never been but my neighbour goes weekly.
Aswell as readings and messages many different types of psychics go there for example they had a lady who reads personal items etc
Even if you dont want to attend I'm sure you will get a good recommendations
Hope this makes sense Im rushin...........
Good luck xx:j:j:j Wooooo Hooooo :j:j:j0 -
Well, they should be able to tell you something about your past and your present situation without you giving anything away... and not just general stuff...Ah okay cool, have psychics been able to guide you to a right decision before? And how can you tell a fake? I'm not sure exactly what they do so excuse my ignorance

I don't want to dismiss psychic abilities - there is more out there, in my opinion, than we know.
Please do not take offence, devotee, but perhaps if you google Cold Reading Ian Rowland you may find that there are all sorts of ways that unscrupulous people can take advantage of those who are vulnerable.
I can understand that you may not want to see a counsellor - I have had some negative experiences with them myself.
I suggest that you see if you cannot get a recommendation here you may find it useful to ask locally and also the spiritualist church. Also, I hope you don't mind, but it may be worth looking at other avenues of support. Life coaching is the obvious one, but perhaps if you have a religious background then someone from there.
I hope it all works out for you.Ankh Morpork Sunshine Sanctuary for Sick Dragons - don't let my flame go out!0 -
Devotee,
Unfortunately I don't know of any psychics in London, apart from the wonderful Gordon Smith (the Psychic Barber from Scotland). He does a lot of work round the world but does spend time in London. He's part of a Spiritualist church and as far as I'm aware there is a waiting list as long as you like, probably because a) he's ruddy brilliant and b) I've also heard he doesn't charge, just asks for small donations to the Church. Google him to see if you can find him.
Whatever you find, good luck.0 -
What is it that you actually want from a sychic (sp)?
that you couldnt get from a counsellormake the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.
and we will never, ever return.0 -
Thanks for that! I do know about cold reading... and yes I can spot it.
Not religious at all, have friends that are psychiatrists and counselors and really not impressed by that. Psychic readings worked for me before (I don't use them often) so kind of sticking to what I know and works best for me. :rolleyes:wannabe_sybil wrote: »I don't want to dismiss psychic abilities - there is more out there, in my opinion, than we know.

Whether someone believes or not is their own business.
It's no different to organised religions.0 -
You could try an online company that I've used before called star temple? Its a phone line like (0800), but at least you'll get to speak to someone and quickly! I've used them a couple of times and they've always been pretty accurate! (you can mock all you like-but I'm sticking with that anyway!)I've actually got a discount code that you can have if you want?-gives you your first reading for 99p SP07 Worked for me anyways, was never told there was an expirry or anything.0

I used to vaguely believe... until I watched Derren Brown pretending to be a psychic, making complete rubbish up by going on peoples expressions/cues, and they all believed him 100% - before he started he blatantly said he had absolutely no psychic ability whatsoever and he was faking it. Shows how they make their money anyway.0
