    the full report...

volumes still low - approvals 10% higher than last year
    1.9% drop in 2nd Quarter

no real surprises that affordability is improved

First 6 months of this year total fall is only 1.96%.

I think my 10-15% fall was pessimistic.

    without doing the math i think it's a 3% or 4% drop since Jan i think :)

but yes i don't think it will be a 10% drop this year.

Are we still going to be talking about february now?

Just wondering, I like to get ahead of the game :D

I would have thought the first 6 months of any year is January - June.
the year does not start in February

I did it from Dec price (so we get the full 6 months of the year).

    £3148 (falls inc june) / £160861 (dec price) X100 = 1.96%:)

Do we have a pretty BBC graph yet.

I'm interested to see just how far apart the Nationwide and Halifax now are. They seem to be getting further apart each month.

To be expected after last months mammoth gains. I dont think anyone was thinking that they were going to show another rise.

Yeah, possibly right. 2010 is when things get back on track so save this prediction for then. ;)

So how they figure out that a drop is now a rise?

Or am I missing something really obvious?!
