Halifax down 0.5% MoM, 15% YoY

Delete if someone else beats me to it while I'm typing this! Logical retrenchment after last month's slightly bizarre figure, tells us very little I'd say.

Why? Are you feeling the desperation to spin the figures to suit depending on which way the prices go per month?
It's only a 0.5% drop, so save your desperation for when were back into the -1.8% drops.0 -

First 6 months of this year total fall is only 1.96%.
I think my 10-15% fall was pessimistic.0 -
