    Dear Ryan,

    I am very sorry that there seems to be some confusion over the voucher
    you have been issued,these are issued under the instruction of
    Screenselect.

    I will pass you details on to them to see if their has been an error in
    the voucher issued to you, if there has they will instruct a new voucher
    to be issued.

  • I am beginning to wish I never signed up to this deal. Thought it too good to be true!!

    Basically I signed up a couple of weeks ago and I think it was the same day (of thereabouts) that they sent a dvd and a game to me. I waited four working days like they say and they never arrived.

    I reported the discs lost and cancelled my subscription but the game is still showing up that I have it at home. I have reported this disc lost now about 9 times (no lie!) and I am still waiting for a response from them and it is still showing.

    It says that should they not receive the disc back by 3rd May 2006 they will be charging me for the month.

    I got my £20 voucher but one of the things I ordered is on back order and has been for about a week so I don't know when I will receive that!

    Anyway I called my bank to see if there was anyway I could stop them taking the money off my card and they suggested I report the card as lost/stolen so that the card will be cancelled.

    Has anyone experienced a similar problem?

    cancelled online and had to call free phone number
    they offered 2 months for the price of 1 but reason to cancel was that i got sky full package 6 months half price so he just cancelled it nad got the email to confirm it!
    already received 1st item today with £20 dvd voucher other are despatched!
    Honesty is the best policy doesn't matter which web site
    you are on!

    if i had known then what i know now!

    a bargain is only a bargain if you really need it!
    • Seem to select 3rd choices
    • DVD.co.uk Voucher was sent after first rental was sent
    • Disks scratched (but I guess that is common)
    • Received Two DVD's and One Game (subscription expires 5th May 2006)
    • Processing of choices is slow, but dispatching is fairly quick
    • Games still seem to have teething problems, but I guess they have limited stock

    Has anyone cancelled purely online? Not having to phone the number?

    i CANCELLED YESTERDAY, I had to call a free phone no to speak to someone, I was on hold a while, but ots fre number, I was ready to say why, (very disapointed with £5 voucher instead of £20 ) but he never asked why, he was very polite and said ok, thank you!!!!!!!!!!! I still dont know whether I should claim my £5 or wait to see if they get me £20? I have emailed lots!!!! ///*_*\\\

    Its doesnt say, but have you called and spoken to someone at screen select?

    Sounds a bit drastic. Doesnt sound good advice from your bank.

    I subscribed on Saturday, got 3 DVDs yesterday, and my £20 voucher - thanks very much for the info!!!
    we are going to Spain tomorrow so will take the DVDs to watch over there then cancel next week!
    Have just spent my voucher - no probs with code. Northern Exposure series 2 and Sex and the City series 6 for a payment of £4.95.
    Very happy ;o)

    To cancel without talking to someone do it outisde of opening hours ;)

    They give the hard sale even though it is automated :rotfl:the last offer of £4.99 was very tempting, but I personally don't have the time to monitor my rental activites or patience. :eek:

    I have just gone onto site and it is now allowing you to cancel online without following up with a phone call to confirm. :j
