    Just cancelled

To cancel without talking to someone do it outisde of opening hours ;)

They give the hard sale even though it is automated :rotfl:the last offer of £4.99 was very tempting, but I personally don't have the time to monitor my rental activites or patience.

    Super.. what's there opening times??

Well guys I hope this helps all of you that have only recieved a £5 voucher.

I emailed BOTH help@dvd.co.uk AND contacted screenselect throught 'contact us' on the screenselect website.
I advised them that I would be cancelling my service with screen select if I did not recieve a £20 voucher as originally advertised.

I got no response from dvd.co.uk but screenselect did reply saying:
    (dated 21/04/2006)
    Dear Jamie

    Thank you for your email.

I have noted on your account that you started to sign up for the £20 voucher on DVD.co.uk website, but then reverted to ours and signed up for a £5. I have passed your details onto my colleague to arrange for a £15 voucher to be emailed to you.

If you have any further queries, please do not hesitate to contact us.
I thought ok i'll see what happens and then this morning I got an email from dvd.co.uk saying:
    (dated 27/04/2006)
    Dear Sir/Madam,

I am pleased to tell you that Screenselect have instructed us to issue you a £20 pound voucher.

Please use the same code as before ; *********
I am very sorry for any inconvenience caused.

    Regards,

So if you email screenselect saying something like I have been really happy with the service but will definetly cancel after the free trial if I do not recieve my voucher then they will sort it out for you.

Emailing dvd.co.uk alone seems to get you nowhere.

    Hope this helps!! :money:

Ed Smith has been busy! Got my £20 voucher.

I had called dvd.co.uk a couple of days ago so I don't know if that made a difference as there was no response on emails. On the phone he took my email and said he would pass it on to screenselect so they could pass it back to dvd.co.uk

Well I'm happy as the voucher has come :)
