ive sent an email asking when i will be recieving my voucher to both SS and DVD.co.uk - i just want the voucher now so i can cancel the dam trial!0

loopyloulou, just cancel the trial. You do not need to wait until you receive your voucher before cancelling, as far as I understand. The voucher comes from dvd.co.uk and screenselect will not tell them if/when you've cancelled. They only pass on the fact that you've signed up with the code. You could keep waiting if you've got a while to go yet on your trial but don't risk paying anything!!Don't stress, relax, let life roll off your backs. I ordered over the weekend and have received confirmation of dispatch emails for all the items I ordered. It does say to allow up to 14 days for delivery (1st class can't be considered lost until after this time).
Items are sent from Guernsey so will take 3 or 4 days I'd have thought.
Will update when I receive them!Don't stress, relax, let life roll off your backs. Except for death and paying taxes, everything in life is only for now... Avenue QOfficial DFW Nerd Club - Member no. 003Proud to have become debt free... and striving to keep it that way

i just got this mail from dvd.co.uk:
"Hi,
It can take up to 28 days for screenselect to pass your details onto us.
We will then issue you a voucher by email. Please note it is the offer
that is ending in May. Each voucher code has its own unique expiry date
depending on when it has been created.

I signed up on Thursday, got my first rental DVD on Saturday, returned it yesterday (Monday) and my next rental (the one I really wanted to see) has apparently been posted to me today. The £20 voucher arrived in my email a few minutes ago and I've spent it already.
It's all taken less than a week and been very smooth so far – hopefully the cancellation will go OK when I've seen and returned the film that's in transit, and then I'll be a very satisfied bunny!0 -
