Well I didnt notice any code either, and I followed the £20 trail aswell. I like miseryguts emails, they say it like it is, I too have sent 4 diferent ones to dvd and screenselect, but only had one response. I have finally watched one of my dvd's and I will send it back and cancel, I am disappointed with this MISS-UNDERSTANDING and WILL let them know,

I have just had another email back........
    Dear Alison,

Thank you for your recent email with regards your ScreenSelect account.

I can confirm that the promotion code on your account is DVD52 which entitles you to a £5 free voucher. This promotion is run by https://www.dvd.co.uk. If you would like to dispute this code, you will need to contact them.

Should you have any further queries please do not hesitate to contact us.

    Kind regards,

    Claudine

I'm still waiting on a reply to mine!! :D
  • I've received the £20 voucher and I've now cancelled membership of screen select.

I'm just about to post them back discs number 3 and 4 but I have to say...these discs were skipping or froze on both my dvd players. They skipped past whole sections of the films. Must be worn/damaged/dirty discs they are sending out.

Had they not been free rentals, I would have been complaining. :p
  • This is the original email I sent:
    Dear Customer Services,

I signed up for screenselect.co.uk from a link (http://www.dvd.co.uk/landingpage.asp?id=20) that promised a free £20 DVD.co.uk voucher, and the expiry date was in May. I received my first rental DVD very quickly and was impressed with the speed of the service. I sent it back and received an email notification that it had been received. I also received an email containing my DVD.co.uk voucher, but it was only for £5, not £20! The code quoted on this advert was DVD52, but I have since seen codes DVD20 and DVDAPRIL mentioned on other sites. Seeing as I clicked on the advert promising a £20 voucher I believe I am entitled to this. Can this please be corrected?

And this is the reply I got:
    Dear Ryan,

Thank you for the email. That is correct DVDUK had the wrong offer on their link for the £20.00 voucher. We can confirm that you successfully signed up for the £20.00 voucher and they must now honor this for you.

You will have to contact their customer service department and tell them that you are due the £20.00.

If you have any further questions please don't hesitate to ask.

    Kind regards,

    Grant

Which email address did you use for dvd.co.uk ? It seems they don't respond to any email addresses I've tried.

    Regards.

I got mine shortly after i got my first 2 dvds. I'm sending my rented dvds back today and cancelling my trial. I did however email screenselect who told me that i will be getting the voucher but if i have any more queries should contact dvd.co.uk so it might be worth emailing them. HTH. Carrie.
