    Hi

Was great to read the whole story , don't think I have read it before.

Seems you have got a great attitude towards the wole student thing.

Judging by your previous record, you will doa great job and be debt free in no time.

Hadn't realised your history hypno, so it was really interesting to hear how far you'd come on the debt free journey.

I recognised many of the stages - the conversion to microfibre cloths and stardrops one sticks in my mind .

Thing is you've not just got a main job and the important second income, but all those other unpaid jobs; mother, coach, wife, chauffeur, cleaner, gardener, cook etc, etc. It's keeping all the plates spinning that can be exhausting, but neglect any of these areas for long and there is trouble :o.

Hope I can learn from this thread how you manage to convert the discipline and time management skills you obviously possess in your main job to the realms of family life and second income. I'm trying to do something similar and really struggling .
I learned that courage was not the absence of fear, but the triumph over it. The brave man is not he who does not feel afraid, but he who conquers that fear.

You truely are an inspiration and Im sure there are many many people on here who are also an inspiration (dont want to get into trouble for favouring anyone, but I havent read anyone elses diary yet).

You must be so proud of yourself, you have come a long way, keep at it.

Talking of which, I need to do half an hour in my "other job" and iron the students' clothes

Crikey do you have to iron for them??

I used to wash for them but if they wanted their clothes ironed they did it themselves.

mind you my students were all 16 plus.

  • Hi Hypno
Amazed by your story thus far, and would just say how great it is you know what you want for your children etc. (From one of your 1st posts in this diary!) When ever Ive wanted to define what it is I want to achieve in life, it has alway been good to know what I dont want to happen, and that helps to decipher what I do want to happen. Hope that makes sense. Look forward to following yr progress!

    Hooray for new diary Hypno!

I have often thought that you could convert these diaries into a book, you write really well. Perhaps you could do that in your spare time? :rotfl:

I just wanted to say good luck on the next phase of your journey and to say, don't listen to anything negative people have to say about your lifestyle choices, they probably don't know the whole story and it is nothing to do with them anyway.

This is your life, your family and your budget, you have to live it, not them.

    Good on you!
