Yippee brand new diary! Have subscribed :j

A couple of inspirational posts to get us started.

I can't believe people can criticise you for trying to give your children wonderful opportunities. You are a superb mum and trying to get your family thorugh a really difficult time whilst not sacrificing everything. Your kids appear to have a real good understanding of money and working to help the Hypno family cause - that not only means they get skiing and school trips but skills that will last them their entire lives :T

I'm sure you will acheive the targets you're aiming for but I'll be really annoyed if you end up in spanking posh house before I do ;)

    WOW...a brand new diary.
It's a fantastic feeling sometimes taking timeout to have a brainstorming session and seeing things in a whole new perspective.
For what it's worth I think you are totally right to have the different pots!!!...it's all well and good paying every spare penny off debt but we never know what's around the corner...the last year has certainly taught me that lesson.
As for people criticising(sp?) you for giving your children wonderful life experiences...it's none of their business.....your life is your life and nothing to do with them....
You have everything under control ...just the way you like it...so tell them to f off xxx

Keep at it - you will have well balanced, appreciative children who have experienced many different aspects of life and will live in a nice new house with parents who owe nothing to anyone - but will never forget that feeling of when they did.

If you can survive what your family has and still come through with a sense of humour - you can survive ANYTHING!!!!!!!

Keep on inspiring us all Hypno whilst you get to where you want to be

Happy new diary Hypno - like your attitude with the students. I've had lots of stuff going on in my main job and also my 2 big extra curricular/voluntary things I do and have let my surveys and mystery shopping go a bit and today I had one deallocated as I haven't accessed the link in time :o - first time ever but took action and have set up a new email account just for mystery shopping which I will check religiously and hopefully get that side of things back on track .

Enough from me for now - I'll continue to follow with interest.

Everything you say makes perfect sense to me and you know that you have inspired me to face up to all of my debt for which I am very grateful.:T

After a quiet period I am looking forward to the next part of debt busting and I am sure that with you as part of the MFiT - T2 that life will not be dull.:D

You will definitely have to turn you chapters into a book are you listening Martin?

A new chapter is always exciting and thanks for letting the rest of us join in your journey. (even if you did break my laptop:rotfl:)

Don't encourage her - it's nothing to do with being sensible and everything to do with wanting lots of different charts with squares to fill in - one isn't enough any more :rotfl:
A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort
