mind you my students were all 16 plus.

These are much younger - 13 and 15.....

So......half way through the week already....a mystery shop to do at lunchtime, and a dooyoo review or two to get written as well as to finish off a script I started on Monday.

Sausage casserole for dinner tonight, so I need to brown the sausages and get them in the slow cooker before work....everyone will be very disappointed when they smell sausages cooking at 7am, expecting them for breakfast.......only to be told that they can have weetabix or toast because the sausages are for dinner

Bob - I need to get my paintbrush out too.....but I suspect it will have to wait until I don't have any students here.....and as you know, I am having difficulty saying "no" to having another one....or two :o

Off to do banking and scratchies now - have a good day everyone xx

Morning - have just ordered blinds fror bathrooms and downstairs loo - only been in this house nearly 13 years and never had anything at windows !!!

Off to work early today - have school reports to print off, collate, re copy, address and be ready for pupils tomorrow!!

Speak later - have a good day
  • Morning all,

No suprise to see a shiny new diary after a day of thought. your focus is amazing - is that part of the training you have on the download side?

I am suprised though that you feel that you have "stayed still" for the last few months - all the things you have done have been paid for rather than borrowed and you needed time with the children, repairs on bikes etc needed to be done. you didnt take any steps backwards.

I guess this may be the last instalment as you will be clear by Easter, and I know all your friends wish you luck - in this virtual world we are all so supportive of each other - I just wish people could by like that in the "real" world.

    Have a good day all,

Have just read post #11 - HYPNO - YOU ROCK :T:T:T

And your children sound so well grounded & sensible - it almost makes me think about having them - OK, not really.

And I know what you mean about working smarter

I wish you all the best and I'll read more later as work now calls

No training - just stubborness and a mind that won't switch off :o

And I am very sure there are still one or two more chapters to come.....£26.5k is still a heck of a lot of debt to get rid of, in anyone's book, so a couple more diary titles to think of yet I reckon!!

Not running yet - still don't have the energy.....but a girl at work is starting from scratch aiming to do the Norwich half marathon, so I might be tempted to use that as my starting point. Now that the weather is cooler, it should also help......I just have to find the time and the energy. Any ideas :rotfl:

I have a fortnight off at the end of July/beginning of August, so hoping to recharge my batteries properly, and then get back into it. Perhaps I could get back into walking before then to build up my stamina a bit.....
