I had to admit defeat to the head cold today and came home from work at 11am......and have been dozing on the sofa with the heating on, and a fleecy blanket ever since. I was in danger of making a mistake at work, and that is not an option in our line of work, so I was sent home. We lose bonus if we are off work, so I will be hopefully be back tomorrow, but if I wake up and feel no better, then I will stay off another day, because I know if I go in and I am not better, they will send me home again.

Rainy, don't attempt matched betting when your head is fuzzy - that would be a recipe for disaster - the offers will still be there when you are feeling better!

bingo I can do in my sleep........notice that I wasn't counting down, though - that was just too much for my poor brain to cope with

DD has just had a phone call from the cafe she had an interview with earlier in the summer - at the time, she didn't get the job, but they said she was their next choice if anything else came up, and now something has come up so she starts on Saturday :T Just a few hours, but she is very happy to be earning a few extra ££, and it takes the pressure off for clothes shopping when she is with her friends etc, so very good news all round.

Hugs hypno hope you are feeling better soon. Great news on dd's saturday job, my daughter works in a cafe on Sundays and its great money too, as you say they can buy what they want, clothes phone credit etc, she even has a savings account with more in than mine:rotfl:

It is a lovely little cafe and I was really disappointed for her when she didn't get the job first time round, as it fits in nicely with her ski-coaching that she does at the weekend. So I am really pleased she has a chance now, and of course she is over the moon as she has been looking for a while.
