Thats a good idea!Buffythedebtslayer wrote: »I do feel better also knowing I am not the only one.also found 2 sewing machines, two fold up camping chairs (why? we don't camp?), a pump for "something unknown"and set of metal pots in a tray I clearly bought when I had more money than sense.
I can really relate to this! I've come from my garage (sounds like a different country :rotfl:) - you know those big plastic holdalls, that hold a 13.5 king size winter quilt? I found one of those full of shredded paper, ready to go in the recycling. My sister was horrified - the number of mice/spiders that could have made a home in there doesn't bear thinking about! Its actually still in the garage, as recycling day isn't till next Thursday, but it will go then.2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
Well, my wheelie bin is full, the recycling is done, there are 4 bin bags outside the door to go to the tip, I have given DD several dresses which are beautiful but that I can no longer get into - they are evening dresses so have wonderful fabric that she is already working out how to incorporate into soft furnishings for her room......plus alteration of a couple of cocktail dresses which I had when I was a size 8 (will never get THERE again) that she could make into a dress for her prom next year....
On of the boxes we sorted was all the bath toys from when the children were much smaller all those foam letters and "squirty" fish that have seen decidedly better days, and have been in a wooden box in the bathroom ever since we moved hereNow we have an empty wooden box in the bathroom that can be used for storing loo rolls in

Yeah, but imagine your frustration if you find the gadget it plugs into in a different part of the house:mad: and you need whatever it is or can sell it for a small fortune:mad:
