So, I got on the scales this morning and they laughed at me :o therefore day one of fighting the flab is well under way. Fruit, salad and chicken has been the order of the day. Nothing junk-like has passed my lips :A I'm trying to kickstart the weight loss for a week or two, and take it from there.......we will see how it goes, but of course it is all down to self discipline, which I sometimes have, and sometimes don't

With me its all down to the first week - if I get on the scales after the first week and have lost, then I am likely to carry on. If the scales say otherwise, I will give up before I have even started. Also if I can be disciplined for a week, I can do it longer term.......if I have a kitkat tomorrow, then it is all over :rotfl:

I used to have a very unhealthy relationship with the scales.....and was permenantly dieting......

Then my weight stabilised and I became accepting of the size that I was, and stopped getting on the scales for months......but recently I have rapidly put on a lot of weight, through eating crap, and my clothes are far too small......so the scales were dusted down again this morning for the first time in yonks, (other than being used to weigh the students' luggage before they go home to avoid excess baggage!!)
