Hi duchy!
El, no prob re the joke.
We're done skiing for today - DS was there to defend a National title he won last year, but got a bad start so was eliminated in the first roundAh well, that's the nature of competition.......there's always next year, but he will be in an "older" category, so he will be up against the big boys!

Yes, I am at home.....
DS is not too disappointed - it is the nature of competition....some you win, others you don't but as long as you are not a bad loser or didn't try, then that's ok.
He has gone swimming now with friends, so has moved on
I've just noticed an abundance of over-ripe tomatoes in my fridge so have just made myself a few days' supply of Greek salad for my packed lunches......should help on my need to eat healthily too - I want to lose a stone before Christmas and my effort to date has been severely lacking in, well, effort
I have got to that point, though, when I will need to buy new (bigger) clothes in the next few weeks if I do not lose a few lbs......and it is cheaper to lose the weight than it is to buy the clothes:rolleyes:
I will weigh myself tomorrow and go from there. I also have avery ripe melon in the fridge, so I envisage a fruit salad for snacking on during the daySuccessful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes.
