Hello all, I'm back from hols with DD, haven't caught up on the gazillion pages of your diary yet, but hope everyone in Hypnoland (real life and online chums) is well and happy
DD came downstairs whilst I was watching the last 20 mins of proms and was excited by the flag-waving, bouncing up and down of people and the conductor's baton. I was all choked up (I'm soppy about the proms too) and trying to explain different traditions to her. She asked if we could go when she's "13 or 14 as it will be too noisy for me until I'm older". Bless her!
Is it just me, or is it plain wrong to be able to buy mince pies in Mr T's already?!? We popped in to get basics on our way back from the airport, and not only did they have tins of chocs by the front door but in the bread/cake section, they were putting out boxes upon boxes of mice pies!! Grrrrr
Right, rant over, time to catch up on what's been occurring over the past week.
I play flute/piano and sing badly - are we forming an orchestra to hold our own Proms?
