I play flute/piano and sing badly - are we forming an orchestra to hold our own Proms? ;)

Ohhh... I'm another (not very good :o) flute player... I loved playing it but I struggled to read the music when you have to count the bars above the normal stave for the higher notes! :o Oooops! :rotfl:

The old dear who makes the tea at work, was complaining to me last week that the Christmas cakes were not yet out in Tescos. I said that it was only the beginning of September and she told me she likes to get everything done early, and it is the only thing she is waiting for

So, scratches all done - double on a Sunday, but still only 10ps......I did, however, get to cashin on one so have requested £10 to my bank account which should arrive by the middle of the week.......and am almost ready to cash in on Virgin, so that is all heading in the right direction.

B!ngo winnings from the hypno household for Friday and Saturday total £47.50. I won't be adding to that today because I am out watching DS ski, but I am more than happy with the haul so far :T That's almost another square filled in :D

  • Hypno, please send your discipline vibes to me. When it comes to bingo something takes over and says - 'just fiver, 1p a ticket could win a few quid'.
Before you know it I'm £20 down, and beating myself up ! Don't even like playing it. Think I'll give all bingo sites a wide berth. Never gonna get to the West Indies like this..

It is tempting, I admit - I have £27.50 in my b!ngo account at the moment because you can only do one withdrawal per day......and it is tempting to "just use the 50p" to play "real" cards.....but I know that if I start, I will end up with nothing left, and I am constantly reminding myself that the idea is to take the money, however small the amount, not for it to end up costing me!

Otherwise, debt freedom will be a jolly long way away! I just keep thinking of my squares to be coloured in, and my snowball calculator.......boy do I sound sad :rotfl:

  • I do wonder when watching these bingo games, in the chatrooms there are people saying this is their last game, spent over £70 - £80 today etc etc.... I guess some people really do have a disposable income.

I don't know if they do, or whether they are just not acknowledging their true financial positions!

There was someone on last week who said they had spent more than £400 on b!ngo during the week, and another on this weekend who said £200 had gone......that to me is more than spending "disposable income" - I reckon they either have other borrowings elsewhere. Otherwise, that is a huge amount to be spending out of normal income.

    Morning

Just got up to let the chickens out, having been up at 12.57 to let DD & BF in!!!. They were supposed to be at a party and camping over but phoned at 12.30 to say was it alright if they came home as they were soooooo cold. DOn;t know why they asked as they had the car and a door key, so I got up to put the lights on and make them a hot drink!

Nothing much doing today. Have a good time watching DS ski - i may go swimming !

Bah to being woken in the middle of the night.....I hope you pointed out the lack of necessity at ringing up first!

    Enjoy your swim!
