I'm always jealous when I read these 'colouring squares' discussions. Don't any of you have to rub out the colouring or add new squares? Or is that just me?

She is due to go next month, pickle - she is off to Ciong Cing (??) and then to Beijing and Shanghai - she is going to be setting up a tag rugby tournament for primary schools out there........but we are waiting to find out if it will go ahead because the chinese are quite hot on quarantining anyone with a runny nose at the moment, and we don't want the whole group held up at the airport for the duration because it wouldn't be covered on the insurance.

When she goes back to school on Monday we should find out what is happening.....

Seaxwyn, I don't have to rub out anything because it would be so depressing to have do to so, it spurs me on to find the necessary money from somewhere in order to make sure I don't need to!

And because I already have 100k worth of squares, I would hope I don't need to add any more - that would mean I had significantly increased my debt!!

    Hi hopeful, and welcome aboard!

Hypno did you say that the 'debt pot' for the Barclays loan was coming straight off your totals as the money comes in? So in other words as each mystery shop fee etc is transferred to the pot, is it taken off your total straight away?

That's right - that way, I am hopefully not going to be tempted to see the amount in the savings pot and to talk myself into spending it on something else far more fun and exciting than a barclayloan :rotfl:

Are you back from holiday yet, El?

If not, then don't think about paying off and colouring in squares, until you get back!

If you are back, then grab a pad of paper and a pen and do some creative brainstorming -then look at the resultant chaos on the pad of paper and you will "see" what you need to do!

Sounds like a perfect job for a night shift, El.

I'm not too bad - just tired really....I must beat the tiredness because it causes no end of problems!

I am trying to get the energy up to head into the City and get the last bits of school uniform before they go back on Monday.....it is having to come out of my grocery budget, so it is a good job we have plenty of food in the freezer, although the combinations by the time we get to the end of the month will be interesting to say the least
