I got a couple of 50ps on the scratchcards, so not a bad start to the day.

I'm tired today with a bit of a headache, but otherwise not too bad. KC, glad you are refreshed, and shaun, hope the lurgy doesn't cause too many problems.

I've got to get a couple of bits of school stuff ready for Monday, but apart from that have very little planned this weekend, so I envisage much coffee and free bingo, sitting in my (still) tidy conservatory. DD did all the ironing for me during the week, so I don't have that pressure looming :D

I'm glad to hear that, Hypno. After all, you have to have some time to read the books you're reviewing (eventually!) on dooyoo..... find a snuggle rug and settle in for the day.

I've not done any dooyoo these last couple of weeks - my brain has been too tired to write anything remotely readable :o I will get back into it in due course - I have to.....it provides me with free money!

In the meantime while brain is in frazzledom, free bingo will be about the right level :rotfl:

Lots and lots and lots and lots of hugs. That blankie to wrap yourself in is sounding more and more necessary.

Oh Hypno - sorry you're not well

    But please look after yourself

We've had these lurgy things around our office and none have ever come to anything but the week you have the lurgy it's work - home-bed-up-work........

Better that for a week than something nasty

    Take care of yourself

I don't have TIME to be ill! So yes, the work-home-bed-up-work thing keeps it just bubbling under the surface rather than ever being full-blown-sick I reckon!

Thankfully, apart from OH being ill in the summer, it is a long time since any of us have been properly ill.

    Hi hypno,

Just wanted to say congratulations on clearing the egg debt, and well done on already having over £1000 saved towards the barclayloan. You'll be there before you know it!

I've been reading chapter one of your diary bit by bit and you really have done brilliantly well in clearing so much debt in a couple of short years, despite several of life's setbacks.

It just shows what can be achieved if you take things one bite at a time, and that by consistently doing something every day, however small, you will reach your goals. And that applies not only to debt, but anything in life that anyone wants to achieve.

Although my current challenges are not related to debt, there are several things I have picked up so far from your diary that I can apply to my situation. So thank you for continuing to share your journey with so many people and just remember on the days when you are feeling down that not only are you clearing your debt, you are positively helping others to improve their lives too and that is something to be very, very proud of.

    Hope you're feeling better soon,

    hugs, oceanspirit

Thanks oceanspirit! I always wonder what it is that makes people read my old chapters...........but I suppose while people are reading my ironing-pile and debt woes, they are not out there spending money, so perhaps it is helping after all :rotfl:
