Don't be scared! Just read through everything carefully, and away you go - there is good money to be made, especially with the matched betting......in my first month (albeit a couple of years ago now), I made a profit of about £1200!

  • I did the Grand national one last year and netted a profit of £120 and won one as well. Although i know that is not the point of Mbing ( i think) Will have another look and i have printed off the stuff. I still get offers from the bookies i signed up with last year and there are some good ones too- just didn't want to risk the cash.

    Evening

Have been to Swansea and back. Traffic Ok yesterday afternoon till i got over the Severn Bridge but still got to Swansea by 5.30.

Got stuck on M25 today - left Swansea at 12.15 - straight run through (found cruise on DH car which is fab!!!) until we got to the M25 which was closed from J27--28 . Tailback took 45 minutes to do 2 miles still never mind we are home, DS has much nicer house than last year and all his stuff is just about sorted!

DD and her BF are cooking Thai Green Chicken Curry for dinner - we may get it to eat about 9pm !!

Hope you are feeling a bit better Hypno !

Sounds like an exhausting day, surfbabe! I am glad DS is sorted though, and hope you don't get all the hassle you had last year!

I do feel a bit better, thank you - largely because I have done very little apart from school uniform shopping this afternoon, and I am not intending doing much tomorrow :o

I have been doing my budgets again, with my payrise taken into account - things are getting a little easier, with that and the egg loan gone. If I can get back into matched betting and stuff again (I still have things to ebay for example, and enough stuff for an end of season car boot) I will feel as though I am making good progress all round!

Thanks seaxwyn.....I finally feel as though we are making headway, although obviously we still have a lot of debt, and a long way to go. But compared with a couple of years ago, the difference is quite substantial, and I have to recognise that and be really grateful for it.

    Morning everyone.........*rubs bleary eyes*

Scratches done - only 10ps again, but double scratch day so double 10p.....

I did a couple of bits of paperwork type stuff last night - an ING account that I opened a couple of years ago to get a "refer a friend" bonus and have never actually used - well, I might as well start using it or close it down, one or other. Except it says "you last successfully logged in 30-8-2007"!!! And of course I can't remember my pin from back then, so eventually got round to ringing up and arranging a new one to be sent.

And my L&G ISA that I set up for quidco cashback, and now use as my "emergency savings pot" - I should be able to see that online too....but can't so have asked for new passwords and stuff there.

Not much - but all helping me to get organised and two things off the "I'll get round to that one day" list that I have growing by the day. If I get another couple of similar tiddly but useful bits done today, that will be fine.

I hope you have a good day....the weather is good here so far, but then again it is only 7am so anything could happen yet!!!
