Shaun, we're off to the south of France, thanks for asking. And we hope it will be hot.

Back 13/09 so will catch up with the Hypno news then. I daresay Hypno will be under £20k by then and I'll miss that party too.

Ooh, south of France, Verbatim, thats lovely - anywhere near the Camargue or Marseille? I went on a leyline trip to the Camargue, and I au-paired just outside Marseille..... its not Cannes, by any stretch of the imagination (or cannibalism, come to that :) ) but its deffo got an atmosphere all its own....

As for Taka laughing out loud - I was doing a *lot* of that this morning .... and by this afternoon, I had to declare a day off. I found a fanfic website that had the most brilliant Stargate story on, and I've been reading it on and off all day, first time in years that I've done that. *and* I discovered that my headache was lack of caffeine - I bought decaff recently, and I've been using the wrong jar :eek::eek: agony :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

You will. I know you will. When you were hard at work in your twenties raising a family, in *my* twenties I was out drinking all the time and using every *scrap* of holiday to travel - I used to go backpacking all over the place, and I'd take my rucksack to work (it was a posh office, I got some very funny looks) so I'd get the 7pm boat train from Victoria .... those were the days :)

    One day indeed Hypno.
We are extremly lucky in that we have close friends who live out there & we stay with them which keeps the cost down a lot.
