Morning Hypno
Re Gravel, mmmm. I spend many wasted minutes brushing my gravel back on the drive from the road. It's not like I wheelspin off the drive ! Nobody else in our road has this problem, intensely annoying.
Congrats on the egg target, I 'm scrambling around frying think of any runny egg yokes so I'll just say you are a fine eggsample to us all.
I'll get me coat...DC.

Eggsellent :rotfl:
Surfbabe, I just include mine in my grocery target, but some transfer the bogof savings to their real savings - it is a case of what works best for you as a motivator etc! Good news on having money left at the end of the month - however small an amount, it is all good news :TSuccessful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. Going to withdraw another £20 this morning as have spent all of the last £20. Hoping it will last me 2 weeks:)November NSD's - 70 -
I've sort of lost track a bit of all my August challenges - £20, NSD, Grocery, and £10 a day
I don't think I am wayyyy off on any of them, but I lost my way a bit on the recording side of things
So, from next Tuesday - 1st September, I will be well on top of things - and hoping for NSDs pretty much between now and then.
I never got round to doing my council tax banding claim - so I have the info in front of me and will do the initial letter at lunchtime.....Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. I realised today that we are through another significant psychological barrier.....
Our total debt and mortgage is now under £200k........just. That makes a big difference to my mindset really, especially as I start thinking more about the MFiT challenge and my aim to move house in a couple of years.Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. You have through so many psychological barriers since I've been reading your thread, its lovely to read especially from someone who was so close to the 'edge' it didn't really seem feasible that you pay it bakc and should go bankrupt IYSWIM.
You will soon be in the teens and from 100k at worst that is some mile stone!
And I guess your are realising that your dream home is not just a dream anymore, if you carry on as you are it can be a reality and a couple of years ago I am sure you didn't really think it was a reality.
Well done0 -
Glad I'm not selling my house..with mad buyers out there....lolNargleblast wrote: »I see the mad househunters are out in force again - evening all!
Hypno they appear to be suggesting our techniques are unorthodox? I'm just trying to even up the odds and make it less caveat emptor and more caveat (not sure right latin word for seller!) ?venditor :rotfl:I realised today that we are through another significant psychological barrier.....

Woohoo thats blooming marvellous milestone. Then we can truly start the property !!!!!! action. The more debt you clear the more equity, the bigger deposit and hence the more drool worthy houses :TLooking for the perfect home and saving to make becoming a MFW easier
