Glad you enjoyed Boyzone, I loved them at Wembley! I even danced to Stephen Gately doing Beyonce's Single Ladies!
I loved it! And when they dressed up as Queen and did a medley of Queen songs - fab!!!
I would def go and see them again if I got the chance!
The house is a whole lot better than it was this morning - we have even thrown stuff away :eek::eek::rotfl:Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0 -

Well, considering that most people on Friday weren't necessarily there for boyzone, but were there for the racing, they certainly enjoyed the concert as much as any "paying" people from the way people were singing and dancing.Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. Great news on your nice clean house and another payout from dooyoo.0

Well, "pockets" of it are tidy.......for the rest of the house it is very much "business as usual"
Our new student is here - he seems nice but a little shy (or maybe terrified having now met us all :rotfl:) but I am sure he will settle in soon enough. His friend is staying in the same village so I envisage much to-ing and fro-ing between the two houses.Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. Evening - well having decided ages ago that we were going racing next saturday we know find out that it is the only saturday in August that there isno racing at Newmarket !!!!! duh!
Anyway - have not done too much today have hurt my back, just by turning awkwardley!
Hope you all have a good rest of the evening0 -
I'm pleased my £20 is still intact - think it was Monday when the new one started (same day as Hypno whenever that was?) Had another NSD - I'm making up for the cash spent whilst away at beginning of school hols. I wouldn't have even bothered to do that a couple of years ago - just banged everything on credit
In a funny strange sort of way - IYKWIM - it was a good thing a couple of years ago when I was rushed into hospital for some fairly drastic emergency surgery - my cc cards were maxed and my overdraft to its limit - I was off work over a year - got full pay for 6 months then half pay then sick pay - it was a real eye opener in more ways than one!! I could have done without 3 major ops in 9 months but have recovered to be reasonably healthy again but the good thing that came from it is my attitude to money is healthier than it has EVER been - I never want to be in that situation again where I'm worried about my health but more worried about dh finding out how much I'd let things slide helping kids through uni but mainly through general overspending. Still pulling myself up from it all - but I feel my spending is under control - I'm a coward though and still don't know the total of what I owe - just throwing all the cash I can at it!!!!!
Reminiscing a bit at mo - sos - hospital appointment tomorrow - always makes me look back to those dark days. Onwards and upwards though - earning an unexpected £65 next week - helping out with a couple of children
Glad you had a good weekend Hypno - hope the cold has gone now.
MilannJanuary spends - £587.580 -
I still have plenty of my £20 left too....:T All ready to enter week two.....:D
Milann, sometimes we need to reach the bottom before we can push off and climb back out again......I remember very well the time that I realised that I could go no further down - there was nowhere left for me to go except up!
Hope the hosp appt goes well......perhaps once it is out of the way you can write down exactly what you owe, and take the next stepSuccessful women can still have their feet on the ground. It's a relief when you write it all down.Good luck at the hospital.
Hypno.your young student will probably come into his own in a few days when he's settled.0
