    Good morning hypno and friends!

Hypno, your achievements really are incredible. Only a couple of weeks ago when I first started reading your diary the Egg was way over £1000 - now it's nearly gone, and it will be such a relief to get rid of one with a company which has given you so much hassle. It must be so motivating to have your debts reducing so quickly. You'll be moving into your new home at the end of next year at this rate surely.

£30k paid off in one year which is almost your annual salary... you are such an inspiration.

Thank you for continuing to share your journey with everyone.

    Best wishes,

    Oceanspirit

    Thanks oceanspirit!!

I have decided that once Egg is gone, the next target will be the virgin card - it may be at 0% so perhaps not "advised" on a MSE basis to tackle it so early, but I can make odd £5 or £10 payments to it easily online, so it would be easy to do and to get rid of.

That would then leave the two loans - one secured, plus the barclayloan, but with nothing else to pay, so my focus on them would be greater, I think.

And of course, at the end of the day, they all have to be paid off anyway.......

£1 for the first tooth, and for doubles.........50p for all others.

But then our tooth fairy was often skint, and had to leave an IOU :o But as long as a nice letter was written, explaining that it would come eventually, the children didn't seem to mind........:o

I too have put the party date in my diary. It coincides with the end of my personal Mortgage Free challenge and ahem, a large birthday :o, so I'll bring the champers (or Lambrusco if I haven't met challenge ).

Hypno, in the big scheme of things a few pounds interest is neither here nor there and if it is more motivational and easier to pay off then it is the right thing to do.

Are we asking our glorious leader :money:to the party?
A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort

I would be most upset if Mr Lewis failed to contribute a packet of breadsticks and some basics lemonade
