Karma I have one wee scraper that gets used for everything too! and it has years of paste, filler etc on it embarrassingly enough:o... I fixed two plugs yesterday which wasn't even on the big list and it's amazing now everything comes ready wired how difficult I found it - soooo fiddly!

Hopefully this time next year I will have moved house...please, please, please.... future memory being fully established:D! or if I am still here the place will look a whole heap prettier!

Oh Shaun! I know you're doing that work on your feet and your muscles - and, when you can, thats what you have to focus on mentally too. I *know* it feels almost impossible - certainly, my mental attitudes are what's held me back in many ways. But if we don't try, it will *certainly* get worse. In the news right now, there are plenty of well known figures dying of diseases of old age who are my age or only a few years older. I *will* *not* go down like that. And you don't want to either, especially you, the children from your 2nd marriage are so little - personally I'd like to live long enough so that we can grow replacement organs in test tubes from our own stem cells, and I'll end up living forever, or at least long enough to see the first interstellar starship come back to earth and tell us what Alpha Centauri is really like.

Blimey. Okay, I'll do that diary title! Sorry for the rant :o:o:o

Morning, lovely sunny morning so far. Had a huge list of houseworky jobs for this weekened but its been sunny so done a grand total of none of them. Will pretend I have to tend my herb pots lots :rotfl:

Hypno do you remember the cheaper barn conversion? The sale on it has fallen thru and the agent emailed to let me know its available again but didn't give me clue as to why. Going to have to phone tomorrow and try to get a sense of situation. They maybe ripe for a low offer

Also considering doing the postcard thru the door trick on a few other houses on Holly cottages road. Looked at sold prices website and remarkably few houses have sold on there in last 13 years.

Elantan - love the idea of the this time next year thread and your awesome power getting this board removed from trial status :T
