    hello there Hypno,

ive just finished chapter 6 of your diary. I came home from my holiday last week and on my way home I kept wondering how you were doing with your debt busting. Your doing brilliantly and again i will say you are an inspiration infact everyone on here is an inspiration a right proper little family, everyone on here is so friendly, and the banter is brilliant
I will continue to read your diary and will also read other peoples too. I dont think ive ever come across so many determined people before.

Anyway, hope everyone has a lovely day, im off shortly for a "family meeting", Dh is trying to convince me to emigrate to Canada:eek::eek::eek:.

  • £30K in a year - Fantastic! That's about three times my take home pay in a year  I'm delighted for you and yours Hypno.

Enjoying the property !!!!!!... I'm looking for a des res studio flat - I don't expect any change from £100K. I'm currently saving a deposit and doing OK - However, I need about £45K in deposit (currently have £30K saved).

Pride comes before a fall though - having been so smug about how £20 can last me 4-6 weeks, in the last 24hrs I've had to spend £12 on sunglasses (I didn't have a chance to go to town for a cheap pair, so had to pay over the odds locally). I've also spent £5 on a kettle since mines given up the ghost and I need my 10 cups of tea a day ; £5 on lunch (because I left the pack-up at home for the first time in years) and 45p on a double milkyway as a treat! It's quite funny how horrified I was at the cost of lunch :D:o

To keep the balances in check, I need to sell a few more things, so Amazon listings will be completed later this weekend. Enjoy the rest of the weekend everyone.
  • I've written an essay, but didn't write what I originally planned - so quick question to JamieDodger, are you the famous JD with the car mats? That story though from so long ago really makes me smile, it's priceless!

What was the car mats story? I've seen so many references to it, but no idea what happened!
