Think of all the MSE things you can do with scrumped apples.......apple pie, apple crumble, cider :rotfl:

True but might mean I end up with a starring role on Neighbours from Hell :rotfl:

I do a really nice sausage, apple and cider dish in my slow cooker in winter. I never use it much in summer but probably should

  • Both nice houses Holly Cottage does seem cheap but Bungay is a nice place:rolleyes:

It must be something about Fridays I have been looking at property too but always start at the most expensive and work backwards currently looking at just under 600K not surprisingly I found more I liked at 1 million plus but even 600k is too much now we have decided that we are keeping the house here so tomorrow I will have to keep looking through the cheaper ones - oh for a win on the premium bonds :D

El - you've just made me laugh out loud with the tales of your son when he was little, thank you :)

Houses - wow! they look amazing, I love them both, they're my kind of dream place, detached, big, old, lovely gardens.......they'd be probably double the price down here though :( Will keep my fingers crossed for the house-hunters when the time is right :)

Ooh, those houses look lovely. I'm *off* old places, I have to say, after my trials with spiders over the last few years, but they're soooo beautiful. I was watching a ten minute "break" type programme yesterday, which mentioned Durham, and I loved Durham when I spent a few days there a few years ago, so I'm off to play on rightmove now you've started me off again.

    See you later!

I've never been to Durham, but I did start my MBA with the Uni there - does that count  I never finished it, and I never actually went to the Uni......

Kind of counts! :) Actually, on second thoughts, I'm ogling Southport - although I *have* been to Durham (the river walk around the cathedral is astonishing, and the town is pretty good too) I sort of know Southport, and I like it. :o Reality bites.:D

I've not been to southport either......in fact, there's not many places I HAVE been :o

£1 on the scratchcard means that I am already approaching payout again (after my small bingo win earlier in the week), so that should be done by next weekend.

Also, I was looking at my snowball, as you do on a Saturday morning, and this time last year, we owed £56,000! So in a year we have paid off £30,000 :T I'm very happy with that :D

    £30000? That's BRILLIANT

Well done Hypno and family. That's over half way there!!!!

I have been on this site for a year and have also gone past the 50% goal. Nowhere near £30000 but I have paid off £11000 in that year which isn't bad for a girl on her own!

    Well done again.

Oh - did I read that you are starting the £20 challenge again on Monday? If so, count me in!
