Yes the floating restaurant is still there - has been through several changes of ownership/theme over the last 10 years. I last visited it about 5 years ago, so couldn't tell you what it is like now!
Knowing my reputation I thought you were going to say it sunk :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

It is another 2 week student, verbatim......and I'm not booked in for any more after that.......but of course if they were to ring up.........
Bowling was very close......it came down to the last ball on the first game - but I lostBut I won (just) the second game.
But of course OH is still ill, so that accounts for the closeness of the score rather than me playing superbly :rolleyes:Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0 -

Riverside bowling alley has been closed for several years - a problem with the floor of the adjoining nightclub, and many legal battles ensue - a shame really, because it is ideally located, and hopefully one day it will reopen.
Its so annoying as thats just down the road from me. I heard that the flooring is not re-enforced enough and no-one will admit its their fault. So I'm sure a group of lawyers are earning a fortune whilst we can't bowl :rolleyes:Double_Trouble wrote: »OMG everywhere I go closes down or goes up in smoke that is a shame it was a nice place
