Thanks eva - I have to be rid of the unsecured debt by Christmas so that I can join in the MFiT challenge
Also, I worked out my latest back-of-envelope-what-if-how-much-do-I-need-to-save-to-move-house-and-get-a-big-mortgage figures again, and my next aim after getting free of the £25000 remaining debt I have, is to either save or overpay the mortgage by £50k before I can realistically get the sort of house/mortgage/deposit that is worth moving for.
So, I didn't think that was too bad - achievable within a couple of years with the same amount of effort we have been putting into the DFD, soI am more than happy with that - it means that moving can still be a reality rather than a fantasySuccessful women can still have their feet on the ground. Hurrah for moving being a reality:j
Hurrah for free wifi at centre parcs - we went to Elveden many years ago before the fire really enjoyed it the first time we went I was pregnant with the big twins and they let me ride a tricycle which as I have never learnt to ride a bike was great - that led my OH buying me a tricycle with a double seat on the back for the twins which was a disaster -but thats another story
Have a great holiday we are off on Monday :j and we have wifi too:T

How on earth could your house ''fall down''???! LOL0

How on earth could your house ''fall down''???! LOL
The front wasn't built on foundations...........the back had subsidence and sank........and the roof had previously been replaced with tiles that were too heavy, so the weight of the roof pushed the walls out to the side. With subsidence at the back, and no foundations at the front, a roof that is too heavy is really the final straw. In fact, if the house had been built of straw it would probably have been more stable :rolleyes:Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes.
