Yes, we are having "brunch".......the menu is a mile long, and we aim to eat enough to last us all day. Kick off is at 11.30........Do you have the odd cuppa tea in your rooms, Hypno? Or are you out the whole time?
Hope you're enjoying it - love the picture of you snoozing away....
We drink most of our drinks in the villa, because it is cheaper, but we are out and about quite a lot, and there are a couple of Starbucks dotted about, so it is quite easy to think that you will grab a nice coffee while you watch the kids do play badminton or whatever......
Yes we are enjoying it - OH is not feeling very well so that is a shame, but he is well dosed up with cough mixture etc.....expect a raft of reviews on over the counter cold medicines on dooyoo soon :rolleyes:Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. Been away from MSE for a few months and come back to find my favourite diaries moved to another location:eek:. Took some time to track some of you down (new diary titles etc in the time that's passed since I was here last) but all's well now as I've found hypno again and read the whole of this latest diary since getting up this morning! Glad you are still debt-busting with a venegeance, hypno, (tho' how could I have imagined that you might have slowed down a bit as things eased a bit financially for you with the full-time job etc?) and even gladder that the hypno family are enjoying a very much deserved holiday together:beer:. Shame about DH's cold but it sounds as if you are all having a fab time nevertheless. My DH was stung by 2 wasps last week, apparently there's a 'plague' of the things at the mo. Hope your son/daughter's experience hasn't cramped their holiday spirit. DH is such a hypochondriac/baby when it comes to pain! We hadn't any sting 'medication' in and I told him I understood vinegar applied to the sting would do the trick. I had to go out and when I got back the 'pong' all over the house was terrible. He couldn't 'find' the vinegar (don't ask, just know that he's a 'kitchenphobe') and had dabbed on copious amounts of vinegar out of the pickled onion jar from the fridge. Judging by the smell he'd doused himself in it!
Just one thing if it's not too much trouble for someone to help me please. I used to love the 'banter and camaraderie between hypno and Pania on hypno's 'old' diaries, and also subscribed to some of P's own diaries. But despite a search I can't find any more recent offerings from Pania than a several weeks ago. Please could someone let me know how she is and where in MSE-land I can find her latest diary?
Off now to track down the rest of my favourites to get a mega-dose of inspiration to renew my own DFW fight. And boy, do I need some inspiration!
It's soooo good to be 'home' again :j.0 -
Hi carbootcrazy!! The stings seem to have settled down now - we have a tube of Anthisan cream and some piriton tablets to keep the itching at bay!
Pania hasn't got a current diary, and only pops onto the boards from time to time at the mo - life is treating her well though, I think......she is working lots and getting on with life. I speak to her occasionally and last saw her about 6 weeks ago. She has moved away from my area now so our frequent tea/coffee/put the world to rights visits have dissippated somewhat!Successful women can still have their feet on the ground.
