Came back this evening from night at spa - a VERY special treat saved hard for and a treat with a good friend. Food was fantastic - building was amazing - an old hall complete with stone lions, griffins and any creature you would care to mention scattered about the place. The ceilings truly something else. Would have loved to be lady of that manor

Had a neck and back massage and facial included in price along with lots of swimming, jaccuzzi and steam rooms - well and truly spoilt. Gave into temptation and purchased an eyebow wax - I have never had any waxing anywhere before and am even such a coward that I don't even pluck my eyebrows - when my 'trusted' friend told me it would not hurt - I believed her!!! I was tempted to say 'forget it' after 1 eyebrow - cos IT HURT LIKE MAD - but I'd passed the point of no return and had to go through with the 2nd eyebrow -NEVER again - they aren't even that bushy - I looked like I'd been in a punch-up when she had finished. Needless to say I won't trust trusted friend again for a while lol!!

Could just fall asleep now - so whole experience must have relaxed me - I'd do it all except eyebrows again - spa tin saving box being made tomorrow - £2 a week ready for next year :)

Got an unexpected days work tomorrow so that will offset the cost a bit too:) :)
    January spends - £587.58

Sounds lovely Milann. Maybe we should all have a savings pot for spa day?! I often have my brows waxed as they are quite bushy. I don't think it hurts much. Armpit wax way worse

    Back wax...

I didn't go for a Boyzillian (the london way of calling the back sack and crack) but my back was bleeding and I couldn't sleep all night because every time I moved, a massive tingling sensation went all over my body! :D
 Debt Free since July 2011 and it feels good!

Even my DD said she thought I was developing an obsession :rotfl:

I've never been brave enough to have underarms waxed......but I too have bushy eyebrows, and my plucking skills are pretty lopsided, so I have often had my brows waxed and don't mind it at all!
