So, in true MSE style, I have just done a dooyoo review for the salon that I have just visited using a voucher for a free haircut that I got from :money:

    £2 away from cashin

Specsavers review obviously will be done later in the week when I can see what I am typing :rotfl:

    Hi all, :hello:

Sorry to hear you're not well Surfbabe. you've been down with a lot this year haven't you?

Glad the haircut is good as well as free Hypno and I'm not surprised you're reviewing too.

I made brownies too on Friday, all gone now of course. I know Hypno and someone else on here (sorry can't remember who and don't dare change page as I'll lose what I've typed) don't like Fair Trade coffee but I drink it in cafetieres and visitors are always commenting on how good it is. Don't drink instant much and I think it's a different drink entirely from "real" coffee. When it comes to becoming human in the mornings it's tea every time and Earl Grey at that.

Fab MSE and a super new do! Which swanky salon was it?

The only high point of my day returning to work was that the property guide was still there from Friday. If you could lend me a million I quite fancy Morley Manor :j

Surfbabe sorry to hear about the shingles. Hope you make a swift recovery. I've never had chicken pox and dread getting it

You dont like fairtrade coffee? Isnt it the same as normal coffee but from the farm next door where the farmers get paid a decent price - do you mean you dont like cafedirect?

No, the fairtrade coffee is made from dried underpants......co-op sell it and I have tried really really hard to like it on the basis of ethics, but I just can't do it. I will have to be responsible for an amazonian family not being able to have electricity.......:o

My "normal" specs should be ready on Wednesday, but I don't know if the sunglasses will be done in time - I hope so, but I have put it off so long, that it is my own fault if I cn't take them with me.

Shelley - my million is yours for the taking........oh, and I went to Saks at the bottom of Timberhill. They were really really good (and I got two cups of coffee........)

I've done three dooyoo reviews today......and am now having a break from the ironing.....

We had a storecupboard meal - corned beef hash. Our French student loved it and asked for the recipe to take home.....success :T

At the moment I cant remember the brands I have tried (we have some at church) but they have all been instant and have tasted vile so I should say I dont like the fairtrade coffee that I have tasted so far - (not that all fairtrade coffee is vile) we dont have any posh coffee shops round here so I cant say about ground coffee but I like my coffee strong and the coffee I have had so far has been pretty anaemic and strange tasting I dont know why as you say it should be the same coffee just farmed ethically maybe they are just buying beans I dont like because I would prefer to buy fairtrade I often buy the biscuits - but not too often because they are scrummy and fairtrade dried fruit etc

Hypno did you get suckered into buying any products? If I go somewhere nice my hair feels and smells lovely and they start talking about this shampoo/conditioner/curl controller etc etc and I fall for it :o

Off to tattoo sucker on my forehead!
