    Business Rates paid! :j
    Thanks for the encouragement
I do feel good about clearing a chunk off the debt (plus it gave me a whole 27 squares to colour in :D)

And I WILL top the dept pot up in no time  Ebay is going well (apart from one buyer withdrawing-grr! But it was a popular item so I'm sure it will sell again) I already have my Xmas savings pot so all Ebay proceeds will go to the debt pot.

My problem is that I'm impatient to see results and want everything to happen NOW! I know in my rational side that this is a long hauler and that my snowball clearly says 9 years  but I can't help it! Big payments like this definitely give me a huge boost.

I've paid off £3392 from my debts since July! :T *must try harder* :rotfl:

My current most said phrase is "It just shows you"

Today it goes with "It just shows you to complain!"

Swift action from LTSB (for once :rotfl:) I complained to them about the money I couldn't get out of my old current account (paid in in error from an unexpected share dividend)

I had tried a couple of times to transfer the money, the account was showing in credit and it hadn't been allocated anywhere else but had a letter from them to say the transaction wouldn't go through due to insufficient funds in the account and not having an agreed OD etc.

Had a letter to say thanks for complaint, passed on to another department can take up to 6 weeks blah blah blah, so I thought there was a slim chance that anything would come of it! But received another letter today to say that they have accepted my complaint, agreed that the money was being with held unlawfully and that the block had been lifted - take your money! :j

It is now sat in it's rightful place, in my current account, ready to be allocated a new home in the debt pot :j

:hello: Hey madabout, definitely get a diary started. It really does help just to get things down in one place and to help get the foot up to the bum to kick it! :rotfl:

A couple of hiiiyaa! letters to get out today - one to The AA who haven't yet responded to my numerous letters and queries about who actually owns the debt. The agency acting on behalf of Bank of Scotland, those behind The AA Loan, have requested my monthly payments be paid to them OR ELSE! :rotfl:But obviously I don't want to be paying the wrong party!

The next to a whole new DCA acting for LTSB CC. I will happily regail my tales to date :rotfl:

Looks like I might have to switch current accounts again, which is a bit annoying. I was just getting settled with Abbey, but from January Alliance & Leicester will join them and be Santander. My A&L loan will be a part of this and I don't want to risk any of my current account cash being set against my loan. Am very wary of this as this happened a lot with LTSB, hence why I moved to a 'non-related' bank. Ho hum!

Day off work today! So a morning dedicated to THE DEBT FOLDER and yet more letters. (Well some of the morning spent on broken loo and broken boiler AGAIN!)

M&S have responded to my new higher monthly payment offer by asking to breakdown further what each total entails, namely 'Pets' and 'Other Living Costs' I've done that letter already as that's the easiest! The best line of their letter though was "How long do you expect your difficulties to last for?" :rotfl::rotfl:Thought against putting "20 years!"

Had an alarming card from 'Calder Financial' claiming that they have tried to contact me without success and that someone will be calling round on 24th Nov between 8am and 7pm :eek: I'm about to head off to the Forums to find the best way to deal with this. The only contact I've had from them is one letter a couple of weeks ago, which I replied to (it seems to be for Barclaycard) Not the best thing to have plop on the doorstep

Another Blair, Oliver and Scott extravaganza! This time for Halifax CC, they are Bank Of Scotland in disguise. They have urgently tried to contact me etc etc but this is the first contact I've had about the Halifax CC. So a hiiiyaa!! letter heading their way.

I want to get organised today, I feel a bit like I'm living in chaos and I like to be on top of all this so quite looking forward to a good sort out :T

I have a day off today too and feel exactly like your statement above.......I have done nothing constructive this morning, so have turned off the crappy daytime telly, put the radio on, and made one last cup of coffee then will do something active this afternoon that will hopefully stop the chaotic feeling!!
