Thanks savinghomes, I'm hoping that they do see that I am trying to be a responsible debtor! Probably the best piece of advice I've had through this experience is to keep the creditors as informed as possible at all times. I definitely have tendancies to be a head in the sand case! It hasn't been easy at times to get them to listen but I know that it isn't from lack of trying! :rotfl:

Thanks keza, I need to keep reminding myself that babysteps still move me forward, it doesn't have to be a dazzling double axle trplie toe loop every time :rotfl:(er, I know nothing about skating by the way!)

Ooh be as nosey as you like...I am! I ran a fashion boutique, well 2 by the end of it all, which I really did absolutely love but it was a franchise and I got sucked into poor advice basically with little power of my own. If I'd have been brave enough to have gone it alone I might not be here! (not that I don't love being a part of the DFW community :A) The duffest piece of advice was to remain as a sole trader-hence why I am now footing all of the bills

But you live and learn! :D

We can't waste time on regrets - we just have to move on. Glad your creditors are mostly listening now

Completely unrelated.... I'm frozen but its that time of the month so think I would be frozen even if the heating was on full blast lol!

Attempting to look at the positives it does mean that now I have a more 9-5ish job, my quality of life has improved dramatically. The shops were open 7 days a week in seperate cities so I did have to spread myself thinly! It was a 24/7, all consuming career!

Plus I have ended up with some beautiful things for myself and even more bits left over to Ebay :D four more items sold today :j

Glad you have still been able to sell some stuff and look at the positive! It took guts to do what you did both in starting and finishing your business - a lot of people don't have those guts. Walt Disney failed loads of times before he finally succeeded!

Exactly savingholmes, as much as I resent the debt I'll keep going!

It is really cold today. The office is snug and warm but as soon as I leave it the corridors (and the bathroom-brr) are freezing! It's meant to be an 'eco' building which is warm in the winter and cool in the summer, but there's obviously been a mix up somewhere!

I think it has been the coldest day so far here for this autumn/winter.... shiver shiver. I've put my dressing gown on over my clothes and my heating is on full blast now!

Phew, what a week last week! I was ill and off work for most of it :( Still don't feel great now but hopefully on the mend. Horrible. But it did equal many NSD's!

Couldn't get anything done though which is the most frustrating part. My body would not do a thing and I couldn't bear to look at a computer screen. So I've effectively lost a week! Good job I've been quite organised for Xmas this year or I would be feeling slightly panicky now!

No huge MSE news, a few more minor sales on Ebay so that's trickling in which is great. That now infamous Blair, Oliver and Scott have now interrupted my Sainsbury's CC, saying I now owe them the money, even though I have a letter directly from Sainsburys to say that they have accepted my recent monthly offer for the next 6 months  So a couple of letters to get to the bottom of this - AGAIN! Just a waste of time and effort from all parties really but ho hum

Calder Financial for Barclycard have chosen to ignore my letters and offers of payment AGAIN so another hiiiyya!! letter will be heading their way! You would think that they would be happy for somekind of payment by now instead of faffing around but again, ho hum!

Sorry you've been ill. I can't believe how disorganised some of these companies are either.... odd!

It does always make me wonder how these companies actually manage to get anything done sometimes, all that going round in circles malarky must play havoc :rotfl:

I have been a little bit naughty and not done my hiiiyaa!! letters yet. Having been wrapped up in the niceties of Christmas and family birthdays and finally being able to enjoy food now after a week and a half of feeling poorly, I haven’t really wanted to face them. :o

But I have set time aside to do them tomorrow morning and they will get done. Not so bad, I usually do them as soon as they come in but these have been 3-5 days now. Still quicker than they ever get back to me though!
