I do love your posts. Always feel very inspired.
Currently have two scarily massive business ideas but precisely zero time to actually implement them or do anything about them at all.
Wish I had your business nous/experience/confidence.
Plus any free time at all!!
I am a nervous wreck really....persona on here is just my alter ego.:o
Only have my own business as there were zero opps for me @ age 23, post college and then pregnant with 1st kiddie. It was in the olden days when pregmant women weren't employable at all.
OH wasn't a high earner either...so it was all a bit needs as must plus the flexi time as didn't want F/T childcare...just 3 days p wk....then one can work in the evening etc.
Went from there really....0 -
I don't buy tomato ketchup anymore, I just steal sachets from fast food restauranhts and fill up the one bottle I bought in 1984 again and again and again. You wouldn't catch me buying large bottles of ketchup, like those poncey, media types in London.
Too true. I've always got a bag of the little salt and pepper sachets stashed in my handbag. Never caught short for seasoning.0 -

Does your bag tend to attract nosy people who peer into it? I think I'd use it to whack them over the head.

There was some coverage on the news this week about early tests showing that coffee can protect against Alzheimers. I'd love to see that as true as a couple of members of my family have succumbed to that awful illness. It could potentially lead to even greater use of coffee bars, which is ironic given the failure of Coffee Republic. Hopefully you'd also be able to argue that you have a good H&S reason for bringing your own coffee in a flask.
Coffee = medication. Case solved.0 -

Yes....people do seem overly interested in the contents of my bag
I'm not a whack-y person. I could spray them in the face with my magicool (also in the bag) in the hope they have a panic moment where it could have been pepper spray.:D 0 -

Dunno, you seem pretty whacky at times lir
Magicool, what a great idea. I've not come across this before. No wonder your bag is interesting! (Beats my salt and pepper sachets).

Magicool is genius - though I harboour fears its pobably going to turn ut to be linked to some health scare in the future....all the good things are.
I don't have condiments though, maybe I should get some.
Latest addition to bag is some liquid oxygen bought on the plane (apparently a desire to spend on rubbish has been linked to the day to day of ovulation, which I think I went some way to support with that purchase). I also tend to have a spare pair of shoes (if its a decent sized bag, otherwise I have two bags).
Whacky, me?:D0 -

I always carry 2 bags when in London. One handbag with "stuff" and emergency deodorant and the other full of spare shoes, work, book to read on train, lunch, fruit for snacking etc. The spare bag makes good for whacking people on the train who don't understand the concept of personal space. :rolleyes:0
