Poncy cups of coffe at £4 a pop?
It's a f*cking joke. And an indication of how pretentious and unsustainable our society and economy has become.
A boom-time business dependent on boom-time incomes.
I'll be glad to see the back of them and their ilk.
Better latte than never I suppose.

Coffee is for geeks anyway.
P.S. I know a great scam involving 6 bottles of wine, Tesco, £27 sterling, and £36 worth of vouchers. PM me for details, but keep it on the quiet."For those who understand, no explanation is necessary. Those who don't understand, dont matter."0 -

I get free coffee where I'm working at the moment.... LOADS of people are forever buying the coffee sold on the premises (Costa) in the canteen. Mental. £1.20-£1.50 for something I can get free ... the machine does manky soup too: win!
I've availed myself so far of the coffee, the drinking chocolate and a couple of cheeky chicken soups.0 -
I will gladly declare I have never bought a cup of poncy coffee from anywhere... I really don't see the attraction!
I'd rather go without.0 -
Hmph, this sounds like a false bankruptcy to me... run away from debts, renage on leases that are unprofitable. Open up three days latter, after getting rid of any incompetant staff...
I have, to my deep shame, bought poncy coffee but only where double toffee-choco double death muffins are available. Mmm. Muffins.“The ideas of debtor and creditor as to what constitutes a good time never coincide.”
