right so where's the cheapest place to buy match boxes in bulk - I have to do the advent calender - love that one - may do a red/green one for daughter or a pink one with snowflakes - love the style of the one on the photo though - may do that one for myself :-)
Have you got a Wyndsors near you I always get mine in there, they are really cheap, they do trainers and pumps too and bags, good value for money, they stock school shoes all year round too.
Heres there link

Hi all!
I am sporadic poster and lurker on the OS board and I stumbled across this wonderful thread accidently this morning. I am one of those people that have many good intentions to start organising for Xmas well in advance but it always seems to fall by the wayside and I end up cramming it all in in the 2 weeks before! This year it NEEDS to be different....as you can see from my sig we have baby number 4 due Xmas day, so it's gonna be really difficult to be as disorganised as I usually am. Does anyone have any tips on keeping motivated? I'm really keen to put together some hamper type presents for family - any tips on these would be welcome too.
Well, I look forward to getting to know some of you hopefully!

oooooo...thanks so much for this, i've just ordered one for SIL for Xmas...was thinking about doing a little beauty hamper type thing for her. What do people think is a reasonable budget to spend on hampers for family (we don't have much just FIL, MIL, SIL, BIL, 3 x nephews & my mum) xMummy to 4, Grafter, Comper, Blogger

Hello all !
Not much doing in the way of Christmas/birthdays today -meeting with soc.services about the lad we've got so covering everywhere with paper/glue/scissors etc. so no-one can sit down - not the best idea...............lol
Any shopping can wait till I'm away next week.
Might do a bit more to my little 'coffee recipe' pots.........covered them all and printed off some 'coffee art' images but think I need to adjust the sizes of some of them before I attack them with any glue.
My workings out, I think as my pots are so small, its 4 teaspoonfuls of coffee etc. -just have to change the label to 'makes 4 cups'.
Think I'm getting out of the 'challenge' this time..........lol
Being an 'oldie' -no kids to fret about (the one we care for is nearly 19) and my folder is well up to date. (pats self on back):rotfl:I would be unstoppable if only I could get started !
