Well I have two nice clean and defrosted freezers thanks to the challenge. My list of things to do before the party is still getting longer, mind you we have done quite a bit towards it yesterday and today. Tomorrow I am having a day off and going to see my Dad.
Haven't done any more towards xmas but made a box for my daughter's Twilight bracelet out of a piece of wrapping paper and a sheet of a4 white paper. Have the rest of the roll to wrap up her other presents ready for Saturday (her birthday). Will get them done either tomorrow or Friday. My other daughter is paying for her to have her hair cut, then she wants it dyed black with red streaks.
Hope you all have a nice day tomorrow and those of you feeling poorly feel a bit better xx0 -
i am thinking of doing me and oh a xmas eve hamper as our dd is 3 nearly 4 by christmas so this will probably be our first xmas with her excited,so it will be nice to treat ourselves before the madness begins lol,

My OH is the same, but I waited til he went to work and then popped one in the fridge, I had them hid all over the place in small bundles incase he went looking! ... he quite enjoyed knowing there would be something different in the fridge every dayRaising kids is like being held hostage by midget terrorists0 -
Hi skint,
What about a nice romantic christmassy dvd (its a wonderful life or something) that you wouldnt be able to watch with your daughter that you can watch together when she is in bed
Some new pj's
A fleecy blanket
A kind of snuggly night in for after she is asleep?? or did you want something for the day time instead of night?0 -

Evening all,
Tip for those of you making hampers up for Christmas - I just got the latest edition of Avon from my neighbour and it includes a mini "clearance" mag with loads of treats for a pound!
I HAVE to get there amazing new glitter lipstick (which is not in the clearance but is reduced in the main mag!)
Rufus Dog - I used to have my hair like that (when I was in my teens) and it was super funky. Only prob was the red washed out quite quick (as it was a very vibrant red and I therefore had to get my strips dyed peroxide blonde and have the red put on top) as I have to wash my hair every day or I feel dirty (loads of ppl think I'm mad but I couldn't not wash it for one day!)
SkintSaver - How about some nice mini bottles of massage oils?
Lipgloss x"Isn't it enough to see that a garden is beautiful without having to believe that there are fairies at the bottom of it too?" (Douglas Adams)0 -

I think he'd manage to sniff them out - I could hide them in my craft stash - he'd never look in there :rotfl:.
Then if he had one he'd want more and disappear to the pub for hours (pub is about 2 mins stagger away) could be bonus peace and quiet :cPOfficially a non-smoker but still rounder than recommended
